Stat Report and What If’s
So, as you all have grown to know I mess around a lot with the stats and different possible scenarios. I have compiled the “Coaching Stats” for this year, like you may remember from previous seasons.
To refresh your memory, takes the stats from your starters only and ranks each position. Then, like the power ranks, just averages out your ranks for everything. QB, RB, WR, TE, D, and K. Whatever you play in your flex boosts that specific category…
Here they go. Yellow mean you lead that category, Blue means you are in second, Green means you are in third, and like always Red is last place.
Next… I have the three scenarios if we would introduce a new Standings procedure. You will notice that it has the ability to shake things up but for the most part the teams leading, stay leading. This is just the idea I had to try and reward teams for scoring high each week, even if they are unlucky and face someone with a higher score.
The three scenarios are as follows…
1) 2 points for a head2head win, 1/2 point for having the high score of the week, and 1 point for being in the top 6 for the week.
2) 1 point for a head2head win, 1 point for finishing in the top 6 for the week.
3) 1 point for a head2head win, 1 point for being the high scorer of the week, and 1 point for being in the top 6 for the week.
You will notice each scenario is a different color and on the far right yellow means that scenario would move you up in the standings and red means it would move you down. Also, the standings would have to be points based, like Hockey, since you would be able to get more than just wins. I have the picture sorted by the current standings but you will see the standings in each scenario, with the top 6 being in bold and italics. Lastly, some people are tied in the scenarios but I have the correct standings by the Total Points tiebreaker.
