Well, if you have yet to hear, two game decisions were reversed (one twice) to change the outcome of a match-up. Keith got the win with the overnight Nate Washington catch and Big Nate pulled out the tie early in the week with Matt Ryan’s fumble only later to get the win with one of Jamaal Charles catches being turned into a rush. What is funny though is that the biggest change of all, giving Big Ben a TD pass, didn’t effect Krack’s game decision, just more overall points for him. I guess it just goes to show that you are never safe. Not even on Wednesday.
Moving on. We are almost at the halfway point of the regular season so everyone needs to be aware of the dues and deadlines. Money on Monday and Trade deadline is in a few weeks. Also, I think it is time to start thinking about the year end party. The first of this week’s five questions was if we should have the party at Fieldhouse Stack’d. The MENU has changed to burgers, but the price is relatively the same, so the food and beer situation will be about the same. Also, at the pace that RB’s are going down and we are picking up and dropping people it looks like we might end up with some more money for the party. I think that it currently hold’s as the best location, but we are always open for suggestions. We could do the upstairs to lot17, but probably for a fee this time. We could do a keg and someone’s house, or a camp as Andy suggested. Regardless of location, it will always be difficult for everyone to be able to make it for the whole thing, if at all, but the more the better. So, the major question at this point is the date. I was looking ahead at the NFL schedule to see if there were any good Saturday’s with a bunch of NFL games and unfortunately there are none. Well, only one Saturday night game in week 16 between Atlanta and Detroit. Bambi works every Sunday, but said he could just work our party if we prefer a Sunday. Personally, I would like for there to be a bunch of games on, but I will do whatever the league wants. However, the party I think should be either Week 14 (leading up to the Championship), 15 (first week of Ship), or 16 (final week of Ship). However, week 16 is days before Christmas so not sure how that would work out.
With that being said I am looking at these days as our options…
Week 14 – Saturday 8 December 2012 – NO NFL games.
Week 14 – Sunday 9 December 2012 – 10 1pm games(Steelers/Chargers), and 3 4pm games.
Week 15 – Saturday 15 December 2012 – NO NFL games.
Week 15 – Sunday 16 December 2012 – 8 1pm games, and 5 4pm games.(Steelers/Cowboys)
Week 16 Saturday 22 December 2012 – 1 NFL game (Falcons/Lions 8:30)
Week 16 Saturday 23 December 2012 – 11 1pm games (Steelers/Bengals), and 3 4pm games.
So, take a look at the days, the games, whatever you want to do. I will send out a mass text that will ask for which days you are available and which day you prefer. I will choose the day that fits the most people schedule and then it is up to everyone to personally get off or make yourself available (if you so choose). Hopefully, if we do this soon enough as many people as possible can clear their schedule.

Kurt’s Weekly Interview Hypothetically Intimate with the NFL: LVU Owner, Defending Champ, and currently holder of First place… ME
K(urt): If you were the father of either Santonio, Pacman or Plax who would have been harder to raise and why?
S(taudt): First, I would like to say that the level and creativity of these questions has me losing sleep at night. Out of the three knuckleheads above I would have to break down each one.
Starting with Holmes I think that he would be the least of my troubles. You know, mostly everyone dabbles a bit with the hasheesh and that really has been his major downfall. Yeah, he isn’t the brightest bulb in the shed, but who am I to judge. I think with some love and real father-son time I could make this little man into a real stand up guy. Smoke or no smoke he did finish High School with a 3.4 GPA so he was doing something right, even if it was cheating.
Moving on to Pacman I want to have everyone stop and look again to this jagoffs mugshot. Anyways, he would be a little more on the difficult side of things. Seems like a real “hood” kind of guy with his antics. Like he is straight out of a damn Rap song, which he probably is anyway. I sense some anger issues and some misogyny which would be my first concerns. I would have to bring this dude up and teach him to treat women, as well as the general public, with some respect. He has always had some kind of trouble wherever he goes… shooting, fights, gambling… the list goes on. Growing up without a father had to have some type of impact, but if I was around I feel strongly that I could make a change for the good.
Plax ohh Plax. What to do with this guy. As far as these three are concerned, I think that Plax is the least harmful. Well, least harmful in terms of meaning it. This guy is just straight up dumb and that apparently puts himself and everyone else around him in danger. I think he would have been a struggle to raise and reach out to, even at a young age. Space Cadet. Aside from athletics, I envision him as a young lad with a good sense of creativity. Why? Maybe his inability to read forced him to make a bunch of nonsense up when flipping through school books.
So, after looking at the three I think my decision as the most difficult to raise would fall on Pacman. He just seems the a dick kid that you can’t really reach out to. One of those do-what-I-want types that just doesn’t give a shit about anyone or anything. Like I mentioned before, I think Plax and Santon would be able to be molded and little better with the right guidance and teaching. Jones. Final Answer.
K: Which NFL player would you feel most uncomfortable watching Broke Back Mountain with and why?
S: Even though I have never myself seen this movie, I think it might have been the easiest of the questions to answer. Tim Tebow. It would just be really awkward with this guy and I wouldn’t know really what to expect.
The whole religion thing is a start so I am sure he wouldn’t really be for the gay aspect of things. He did have an “Anti-Gay” commercial.
But then again he could just be a really emotional type of guy and make everything even more awkward.
Finally, the worst case scenario this guy does the unthinkable. You know dammit.
Moving on.
K: If Big Ben wasn’t playing football what other profession would he be doing?
S: Simply because of the guy Ben is this question has endless answers. So, I present to you…
MY 10 FACES of BIG BEN
K: If Ray Lewis lived in your basement because he lost all his money on a failed business venture like a bubble that you put all your furniture in in-case of a hurricane, how would you get him to leave?
S:I think this might be the most difficult question. How the hell am I supposed to get this guy out? I think my best bet would be to challenge him to a series of obscure tasks. First, due to his highly successful commercials, I think I would play against him in some Madden games. I haven’t played it in years, but by the looks of it Ray is really bad so I think I could take him. Next we would try out a triathlon. He would probably crush me in this, but it’s get’s us both outside, moving around, and staying active. Last we would have to go into the woods and build a hut or campsite that we could live at. Without him knowing it, I would would be helping him build his own new home. You know, with Madden I would want to crush his spirits and show him who is boss. Then, with the triathlon he would win gaining some of his dignity back. Finally, with the camp site we would building his new home. Hopefully he would be so pumped at this point that he would want to actually live in what we made. If not, I guess I would just be stuck with him down there. Good home security at least.
K: Mark Madden recently called Mendenhall Rashard Al-Shabaz alluding to him potentially being a terrorist. With that said, what terrorist act would you see Mendenhall performing on a football field?
S: I am sure if he had something up his sleeve he would act out during the National Anthem. Maybe do something to disgrace the American Flag. Wipe his ass with it or something. Or maybe, in order to show his terrorist side and get an edge in the run game he would bring and replace the football with a bomb shaped like the ball. Then, he would toss it to the ball boy on the opponents sideline. Obviously he would blow it up when none of his teammates are around, maybe try and get a few defensive linemen in the process. Idk.
